SPW TANZANIA WISHES TO PARTICULARLY ENCOURAGE FEMALE APPLICANTS

As an SPW volunteer, you will be attached with at least one other volunteer to rural schools and communities, where you will live and work with your placement community for 8 months. You will receive training to prepare you for your work, and an allowance to cover your basic living expenses.

Through your work you will empower others to make more informed choices about their health, and specifically you will improve HIV/AIDS awareness. Your work will be challenging but the rewards are many, and the work experience you receive will prove invaluable long after the programme is finished.

By the end of your SPW placement you will have excellent leadership and team-working skills, and have experience in teaching, working with HIV/AIDS, planning activities and events organisation. SPW provides volunteers with the foundations on which to build outstanding futures. Join us!

Potential volunteers from outside Tanzania should visit the SPW International site for more details - www.spw.org
